FORUM

Forum meets weekly for an hour each Wednesday morning at 10.00am, and is valued by those who participate. The focus is on the Scripture readings, sermon and general theme of the previous Sunday morning’s service. Those attending may either contribute to the discussion in the way they feel led, or simply sit and listen. We aim to finish by 11.00am.

FOOt Clinic

The Foot Clinic is held approximately every 6 weeks, on a Tuesday, and offers a service of foot massage and toe-nail clipping for those unable to undertake these tasks themselves.
Participants enjoy a cuppa, as well as home-made baking, as they bathe their feet and catch up with friends before reclining for their foot care. The requested donation is $8 per person.

CONFERENCES @ CASHMERE

2016 Conference: "What does the future hold?"
This year's seminar at Cashmere was on the topic "What does the future hold". Speakers included Nicola Hoggard-Creegan and MP Ruth Dyson, who led us as we discussed "Implants & upgrades, cyborgs & cellphones: staying human in the 21st century", "The Future for Christchurch", and "Our Poor Planet: Ecology, theology and saving the Earth".

There was so much amazing material presented and discussed. We are in the process of putting notes up on the Cashmere Conference website to make things available to those who came and also for those who didn't. Already on the "Resources" page there are the texts of both of Nicola's lectures, plus the sermon by Geoff Troughton on "Lost and found in the 21st Century".

Craft Showcase at Cashmere
In October 2016 we hosted our first Craft Showcase, with contemporary and historical exhibitis, as well as a large variety of hand crafted items entered for judging.  The stalls with goods and supplies for sale, as well as the Quilt exhibit, made this a not-to-be missed occasion.

Dates for 2017 will be notified in due course.

Visit the website for more information.
