Who do you want to be like when you grow up? There are all sorts of factors that will influence that end result. Very importantly, there is our own unique gift of human personality, but the influence of events and the impact of others are also significant.
John Stott stated that he had come to the conclusion that God’s purpose for his people is to become like Christ: he lands on Christlikeness as God’s purpose for his people.
