Sunday 10th August 2025 Text: Luke 12: 22-31 In a world groaning under the weight of climate change, where creation cries out and hearts grow anxious-- we come not in fear, but in faith. We come, believing in a Creator who formed the heavens and the earth, and who still holds all things together. When the future feels uncertain, and the news overwhelms, Jesus says: Do not worry. We lift our eyes to the hills-- Our help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. Let the beauty of the earth remind us of God's care. Let the flight of the bird, the bloom of the flower, speak of a God who clothes and feeds and sustains. We worship with faith in a God who is not distant, but active in creation-- renewing, redeeming, and inviting us to join in the work. So come—let us worship the God of all creation, who speaks peace into our anxiety, and calls us to walk by faith, not fear. With open hearts and steady hope, we worship the Lord our God. Today’s sermon is based around Luke 12, where Jesus said to the disciples, “And so I tell you not to worry about the food you need to stay alive or about the clothes you need for your body. Life is much more important than food, and the body much more important than clothes.” Watch the recorded sermon here: https://youtu.be/rEragChPyMw
