Sunday 17th August 2025 Texts: Isaiah 5: 1-7 Luke 12: 35-40 Even when the night is deep, the promise of dawn draws near. We keep our lamps burning and our eyes peeled, ready to respond when called by God A divine knock at the door will break the silence: Come let us greet Him! We rise with joy, ready for His appearing. In the darkness, our light shines; in the waiting, our hope has grown. In worship we will watch, we will wait, we will worship—awake to all the ways the Lord calls to us Today’s reading from Luke 12 is about watchfulness. In his sermon Hamish asks us, when Jesus knocks on the door of our lives, are we ready to open the door to Him? Watch the recorded sermon here: https://youtu.be/ZRyX6LqJ4Ao
