Our theme on Sunday was Messiah: Activated, Affirmed and Empowered.
So far in this preaching series - Welcome to our World Jesus - the emphasis in the text has been on recognition of specialness in Jesus. Now we hear the crack of the starter’s gun ring out and Jesus is off into his ministry – this 30-year-old has been shaped up and ready, he is off and running! What was Jesus like as a boy? Why is there only one story from his childhood in the bible? We explore these questions in the service this week.
