Sunday 23rd April 2023 God calls us to worship – not only in this day and hour but on all days and in every hour. On all days and in every hour, we are called to remember who God is and to remember who we are. We are called to sing aloud together, to pray together and to live in the presence of God. Readings: 1 Peter 1: 17-23: In the first chapter of Peter’s letter, he emphasises that followers of Jesus are God’s people. They may encounter problems in following Jesus, but they are precious in God’s eyes. Luke 24:13-36: On the afternoon of the first Easter two disciples are walking to the village of Emmaus. On their way a mysterious stranger joins them. You can download the full service sheet on our News page, and the recorded sermon is available to watch here: https://youtu.be/5md9q8hRpkk
