Mother’s Day
Text: John 15:9-17 & 1 John 5:1-6
In the passage from John, there is a theme of love and obedience. The biblical commentator Leslie Newbigin puts it this way:
“Life in the vine is love manifested in obedience, and obedience manifested in love.”
