Connecting with God in times of distress
Today we will deal with the importance of keeping connected to God through a time of social isolation. It is the first of a 3-part series designed to empower our prayer life at this time when many of our normal personal interactions have been compromised.
Keep us, good Lord, under the shadow of your mercy in this time of uncertainty and distress.
May this time of worship sustain and support the anxious and fearful, and lift up all who are brought low;
Forgive us for our doubt and despair, and help us to rest in your comfort knowing that nothing can separate us from your love in Christ Jesus our Lord.
